We are a small company specialising in documenting the work of charities and NGOs.  Although we work with a range of organisations and donors, our interest is primarily in the people and communities we collaborate with. We undertake commissions for a range of organisations from ECHO, UNICEF and the WFP to smaller peace-building and community development focused organisations.
We have over 10 years experience working in the field including:
Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, Sierra Leone, Mali, Togo, DRC, Kenya, China & Bangladesh.

Tom:
Tom is a British freelance photographer/videographer, specialising in documenting humanitarian issues in Africa and Asia. He has created tourism marketing materials for developing countries and filed news pictures for the Associated Press and European Press Photographers’ Association. He is a member of the East African Foreign Correspondents Association. Recent exhibitions include the ‘Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year Award’, the ‘In Conflict - Visible White Photo Prize’ in Florence, Italy.
Tom has conducted extensive work as a participatory photography practitioner in post-conflict settings (including Rwanda, South Sudan, Bangladesh and Burundi). Tom has worked with marginalised groups and amassed specialist expertise in developing creative processes that address the roots of societal conflict.
Publications range from The Economist and The Independent to Italian Vogue and the Lancet. Tom is a lecturer in photography at Lincoln University, creating, delivering and assessing substantial elements of course content.

Emily:
A post-graduate career in third sector Marketing and Communications in London gave Emily a grounding in design, publications and event management. From there, she moved into regional newspapers, working first in page layout and production, gaining a sound knowledge of production processes and organisation.
Several years writing features, advertising copy and restaurant reviews followed, until the opportunity arose to work in Africa as editor of the in-flight magazine for the Rwandan national airline.
Now back in the UK, she is a freelance copywriter and editor in both the commercial and NGO sectors. She works with NGOs specialising in genocide and post-conflict recovery, and recently worked with the Government of Rwanda on the 20th Commemoration of the 1994 genocide. Working via London design agencies, she also provides advertising copy for high-profile clients including Greene King pubs and the Modern Apprenticeship scheme.
