Tom Martin
Tom has over 5 years experience working as a photographer in Africa, he is a Foreign Correspondent for AP and the EPA, providing photographic coverage for the great lakes region. Recently completed consultancies include working with the EU to produce comprehensive image libraries and document activities.Tom has extensive experience working with agencies ranging from USAID to the UN.
Tom has worked with high profile subjects and heads of state, including George Bush, Nicolas Sarkozy, Tony Blair, Paul Kagame, Mia Farrow and Bob Geldof.
Tom has been Published in - The Independent (UK), Global News (US), France 24, B.Spirit!, B.there!, Newark Advertiser (UK), Nottinghamshire Living Magazine, ‘this is tomorrow’ contemporary art magazine, life & style, The New Times and Blink Magazine(Rwanda), La Revleve newspaper (Belgium) amongst many others and extensively on the web.
He is a creative consultant for Green Igloo architects, working with clients to produce effective site specific art for public spaces.
Tom also worked with National Geographic photographer David Pluth. And as Rock Solid Creative’s, photographer, produced images for Ikaze (in-flight magazine for Rwandair Express) and Enterprise East African business magazine.
Tom has produced several nationwide advertising campaigns for African telecoms companies, product photography, packaging images. Tourism promotion, high quality images for tourism promotion globally.
Tom has worked in Russia, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Kenya, the UK, South Africa and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
